MATCHWINNER Kris Commons this afternoon repeated: “I want to stay at Celtic.”
Talks have stalled on a contract extension, but the midfielder, who claimed the only goal against Ross County, urged the Hoops powerbrokers to get a move on.
Commons, who has attracted ex-boss Neil Lennon at Bolton, said: “Of course, I want to stay.
“Why would I want to leave?
“Let’s get it done.”
Commons, last season’s Player of the Year with 32 goals, netted his first league goal since September against the Highlanders.
He added: “It was difficult to play attractive football in these conditions.
“They undoubtedly played a part in how we performed.
“However, the main objective was to come here and ghet three points and we achieved that.”
