COMMONS’ TREBLE TARGET

KRIS COMMONS admits Celtic have targeted the Treble ever since he first joined the club from Derby.
The 32-year-old said: “I am in my fifth season here and ever since I walked in the door there has been talk of us winning a Treble.
“That is something we are desperate to do. It is going to be high on our agenda.

“And we want to get to the Champions League group stages. That is where we want to be, without a doubt.”

Assistant boss John Collins revealed everyone was disappointed not to have completed only the fourth clean sweep in the club’s history.

Inverness Caley Thistle ended the bid during a controversial Scottish Cup semi-final when they won 3-2 late in extra-time after referee Steven McLean failed to spot a Josh Meekings handball when the Hoops were winning 1-0.
Collins added: “Winning the Treble next season is our target. We probably should have won it this season.”
