BRENDAN RODGERS has handed debut starts for keeper Viljami Sinisalo and defenders Dane Murray and Jeffrey Schlupp against Raith Rovers at Parkhead this evening.
The Celtic boss has brought in the Finnish keeper for injured Kasper Schmeichel while left-back Schlupp is in at the kick-off following his first appearance as a second-half substitute in the 6-0 win over Dundee in midweek.
Murray, who had a cameo role in the Champions League loss against Aston Villa, makes his domestic debut in the Scottish Cup last-16 encounter against Barry Robson’s Championship side.
With an eye to Wednesday’s visit of Bayern Munich, Filipe Jota starts on the bench alongside Adam Idah, Greg Taylor, Arne Engels and Reo Hatate while Alistair Johnston and Cameron Carter-Vickers miss out altogether.
TEAM: Sinisalo; Ralston, Murray, Scales, Schlupp; Bernardo, McGregor, McCowan; Kuhn, Maeda, Yang. Subs: Bain, Taylor, Jota, Idah, Nawrocki, Kenny, Engels and Hatate.
