CONFIRMED: 500 NOT OUT FOR BROONY



SKIPPER Scott Brown will make his 500th appearance for Celtic against Motherwell at Parkhead tonight.

The 33-year-old midfielder, signed by Gordon Strachan from Hibs for £4.4million in 2007, will line up alongside Olivier Ntcham against the Fir Parkers.

Brown becomes the 12th player in Celtic’s 500-club, joining legends such as Tommy Burns (503), Jimmy Johnstone (515), Jimmy McMenemy (516), Bobby Evans (537), Bobby Lennox (586), Alec McNair (641), Pat Bonner (641), Danny McGrain (663), Roy Aitken (672), Paul McStay (677) and Billy McNeil (787).

Anthony Ralston comes in for Kristoffer Ajer as the only change from the starting line-up against Hibs on Sunday.
