ANGE POSTICOGLOU has rested winger Liel Abada for tonight’s Europa League second leg tie against Jablonec at Parkhead tonight.

The Israeli winger opened the scoring in the 4-2 win in the Czech Republic last week, but is given the night off with James Forrest moving to the right.

Ryan Christie, who came on as a second-half subtitute against the Czechs and scored the fourth goal, starts after a fine performance in the 6-0 victory over Dundee in the Premiership at the weekend where he provided three assists.

James McCarthy will also watch from the stand among the capacity crowd. The Republic of Ireland midfielder, who is still awaiting his debut, wasn’t registered with UEFA for the third round qualifier.

The winners will meet Dutch club AZ Alkammar next week in the first leg of the play-off final.

TEAM: Hart; Ralston, Welsh, Starfelt, Taylor; Rogic, McGregor, Turnbull; Forrest, Furuhashi, Christie. Subs: Barkas, Bain, Bitton, Ajeti, Soro, Edouard, Bolingoli, Urhoghide and Montgomery.
