CONFIRMED: AJER OUT, BITTON IN

0

KRISTOFFER AJER is posted missing from the Celtic squad for tonight’s game against Aberdeen with Israel international Nir Bitton taking his place in central defence.

Left-back Greg Taylor, who came on in the second-half in the Scottish Cup loss at Ibrox on Sunday, is in from the start with Diego Laxalt on the substitutes’ bench.

Odsonne Edouard, who squandered two excellent chances, including a penalty-kick, once again leads the attack with Leigh Griffiths once again on stand-by. Alan Ajeti, like Ajer, is missing from the pool of players for the Pittodrie confrontation.

Skipper Scott Brown, who will join the Dons in the summer after 14 glittering years at the Hoops, is in his usual berth in the middle of the park.

Youngster Adam Montgomery, Dane Murray and Karamoko Dembele are among the substitutes.

TEAM: Bain; Kenny, Welsh, Bitton, Taylor; Brown, McGregor; Christie, Turnbull, Elyounoussi; Edouard. Subs: Hazard, Griffiths, Soro, Rogic, Murray, Montgomery, Ralston, Karamoko, Laxalt.
