CONFIRMED: AJETI LEADS, ROGIC RETURNS

1

ALBIAN AJETI, under threat of a SFA two-game ban, leads the attack alongside Odsonne Edouard against Motherwell at Parkhead this afternoon, as CQN forecast.

The Swiss international striker scored his sixth Hoops goal in the 4-0 win over Kilmarnock on Tuesday night – and was later charged by the review panel of simulation in the penalty-kick incident from which the Frenchman slotted in the second strike.

Neil Lennon, though, had no hesitation in giving the nod to £5million Ajeti to take his place today while the club will fight the possibility of a suspension on Monday.

Ryan Christie limped off after twisting his ankle against Killie and his place will be taken by Tom Rogic.

Jonjoe Kenny, on loan from Everton, will make his Parkhead debut after an excellent display in Ayrshire.

The Hoops have overcome Well twice this season, scoring seven goals for the loss of one. Mohamed Elyounoussi, who is among the substitutes, claimed a glittering hat-trick at Fir Park.

TEAM: Bain; Kenny, Welsh, Ajer, Taylor; Turnbull, Rogic, Brown, McGregor; Edouard, Ajeti. Subs:Barkas, Duffy, Griffiths, Klimala, Soro, Johnston, Elyounoussi, Henderson and Laxalt.
