CONFIRMED: BIG FOUR BACK

0

CELTIC’S big four of Fraser Forster, Callum McGregor, Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths are poised to return against Hearts at Parkhead tonight.

Neil Lennon rested his talented quartet for the 3-0 Scottish Cup triumph over League One part-timers Clyde at Broadwood on Sunday.

Scott Bain made his first appearance in goal since he broke a hand in the 4-3 Champions League exit against Cluj in August while £3.5million Polish striker Patryk Klimala led the attack for his first start since his arrival last month.

Mohamed Elyounoussi also made his first appearance against Danny Lennon’s side since playing in the first-half of the Betfred League Cup Final win over Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox outfit at Hampden on December 8.

However, Lennon will revert to tried and trusted performers for the visit of the Edinburgh side as he bids to maintain the seven-point advantage at the top of the Premiership.

Crocked Israeli double-act Nir Bitton and Hatem Abd Elhamed, as CQN reported earlier today and the Daily Record confirmed, have failed to make the provisional pool of players although they are now back training.

SQUAD: Forster, Bauer, Hayes, Ajer, Bolingoli, Simunovic, Taylor, Jullien, Brown, McGregor, Rogic, Ntcham, Christie, Forrest, Soro, Elyounoussi, Edouard, Klimala, Griffiths, Welsh, Bain and Gordon.
