CONFIRMED: BROONY RETURNS

SKIPPER Scott Brown has recovered from injury and will lead Celtic in the second leg of their Europa League last-32 encounter against FC Copenhagen at Parkhead tonight.

The 34-year-old midfielder limped off in the 1-1 draw in the Danish capital last week.

Brown is one of three changes from the side that defeated Kilmarnock 3-1 in the Premiership on Sunday with winger James Forrest and left-sided raider Mohamed Elyounoussi also starting.

Dutch teenager Jeremie Frimpong, who made his European debut in Copenhagen, drops to the substitutes’ bench while Ryan Christie is suspended after picking up a booking against the Danes.

French talisman Odsonne Edouard, who scored the vital away goal in the stalemate, leads the line, with Leigh Griffiths also among the stand-by squad.

TEAM: Forster; Simunovic, Jullien, Ajer; Forrest, Brown, McGregor, Rogic, Taylor; Edouard, Elyounoussi. Subs: Bain, Frimpong, Bolingoli, Bitton, Griffiths, Bayo and Hayes.
