CONFIRMED: BROONY RETURNS

1

SKIPPER Scott Brown returns to the starting line-up for tonight’s Premiership encounter against Ross County in Dingwall.

The 35-year-old powerhouse came on in the second-half in the 1-0 midweek win over Aberdeen at Parkhead, but he is given the nod to lead the team by Neil Lennon for the match against John Hughes’ relegation-threatened Highlanders.

Ismaila Soro drops to the substitutes’ bench as one of two changes by the Hoops boss.

Albian Ajeti, who was disappointing in his hour against the Dons, is left out with Tom Rogic taking a place in midfield.

The champions go into the match 18 points adrift at the top of the table following Steven Garrard’s side’s 4-1 win over Dundee United at Ibrox earlier in the day.

TEAM: Bain; Kenny, Ajer, Welsh, Taylor; Brown, McGregor; Christie, Turnbull, Rogic; Edouard. Subs: Hazard, Griffiths, Ajeti, Klimala, Soro, Elyounoussi, Henderson, Ralston and Laxalt.
