CONFIRMED: BURKE LEADS ATTACK

OLIVER BURKE will lead the frontline against St Johnstone this evening at Parkhead as Celtic aim to move six points clear at the top of the Premiership.

The on-loan Hoops hitman netted a double in last week’s win over St Mirren and the Scotland international returns in place of Timothy Weah who started the weekend triumph over Hamilton Accies.

Burke, who agreed a six-month deal from West Brom earlier this month, is one of three changes made by Brendan Rodgers.

James Forrest is back with Mikey Johnston moving to the subs’ bench while Jozo Simunovic replaces the injured Filip Benkovic in central defence alongside Kristoffer Ajer.

Odsonne Edouard returns to the squad and is also on the bench.

TEAM: Bain; Lustig, Simunovic, Ajer, Izaguirre; Brown, McGregor; Forrest, Christie, Sinclair; Burke. Subs: Gordon, Hayes, Bitton, Henderson, Johnston, Weah, Edouard.
