CONFIRMED: CALMAC, TAYLOR IN

1

CELTIC skipper Callum McGregor and Hoops team-mate Greg Taylor are both in Scotland’s starting line-up for tonight’s friendly against Poland at Hampden.

The Parkhead anchorman will take his usual place in the middle of the park with the left-back taking over the No.3 role from Andy Robertson who will be missing through illness.

Aston Villa’s John McGinn is named captain in place of the Liverpool full-back.

Ex-Celtic No.1 Craig Gordon will be in goal while another two former fans’ favourites will also figure with Kieran Tierney moving one forward and Ryan Christie taking a place alongside McGregor.

Central defender Jack Hendry, who spent last season on loan at KV Oostende before his summer move to Club Brugge, has been named among the substitutes.

TEAM: Gordon; Patterson, McTominay, Hanley, Taylor; McGinn, Gilmour, McGregor, Christie, Tierney; Adams. Subs: Clark, Kelly, O’Donnell, Stewart, Hendry, Halkett, Jack, Armstrong, Hickey, Brown, Ferguson and McLean.
