CAMERON CARTER-VICKERS will start his first Celtic pre-season game against Chelsea in Indiana tonight.
The central defender has been in the stand for the 4-0 win over DC United in Washington last weekend and 4-3 victory over Manchester City in North Carolina, but will get a start against the London club at the Notre Dame Stadium.
The international, who had been on extended leave after being involved with the USA side in the Copa America, will line up alongside Liam Scales in the middle of the rearguard with Stephen Welsh dropping to the substitutes’ bench.
Danish keeper Kasper Schmeichel will also be in at the kick-off for the second successive match after making his Hoops debut against Pep Guardiola’s English champions in midweek.
