BRENDAN RODGERS has decided to take no risks with Cameron Carter-Vickers on Kilmarnock’s plastic pitch at Rugby Park this afternoon.
The Celtic boss has rested the USA international centre-back from his matchday squad to bring in Liam Scales to play alongside Auston Trusty in the heart of the rearguard.
Rodgers has also brought back Adam Idah to lead the line with Kyogo Furuhashi starting on the substitutes’ bench.
TEAM: Schmeichel; Johnston, Trusty, Scales, Taylor; Engels, McGregor, Hatate; Kuhn, Idah, Maeda. Subs: Sinisalo, Kyogo, Valle, Yang, McGowan, Bernardo, Forrest, Ralston and Welsh.
