CELTIC will continue their quest for the phenomenal quadruple treble when they play Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden on April 12.

The date was confirmed by the SFA today and the kick-off for the Sunday encounter will be 3pm.

It’s an action replay of last season when Neil Lennon’s outfit squared up to Derek McInnes’ Dons in a remarkable confrontation.

The Hoops won 3-0 on their way to a 2-1 victory over Hearts on May 25 to seal the treble treble. Goals from James Forrest, Odsonne Edouard (pen) and Tom Rogic gave the holders a well-deserved triumph over the Pittodrie outfit who ended the game with nine men after red cards to Dom Ball and Lewis Ferguson.

Last season’s beaten finalists will take on Edinburgh rivals Hibs at the national stadium on the Saturday with a 12.15pm kick-off.

Daniel Stendel’s men won the dress rehearsal between the teams on Tuesday night when they claimed a crucial 3-1 victory at Easter Road.
