CELTIC will take on Russell Martin’s Ibrox side in their Premier Sports League Cup semi-final at Hampden on Sunday November 2.
The holders will kick off at 2pm in an action replay of last season’s dramatic final against the Govan club who were managed at that stage by Belgian Philippe Clement who was sacked two months later.
The mid-December clash last year was a frantic encounter that saw Brendan Rodgers’ men leading 3-2 through goals from Greg Taylor, Daizen Maeda and Nicolas Kuhn before conceding an equaliser to Brazilian striker Danilo only moments from the end.
That goal forced the match into extra-time, but there was no further scoring and the match went into a penalty-kick shoot-out.

UP FOR THE CUP…Kasper Schmeichel and Daizen Maeda celebrate after their penalty-kick heroics in Celtic’s Premier Sports League Cup Final win in December last year.
Kasper Schmeichel saved from Ridvan Yilmaz and it was down to Maeda to sink the silverware-winning spot-kick and he made no mistake as he fired a low effort past Jack Butland.
In the other last-four confrontation, Motherwell and St Mirren play 24 hours earlier with a 5.30pm start.
Ticket allocations and prices for both matches have also been confirmed following discussions with the competing clubs and relevant authorities.
Prices in the East and West Stands have been frozen at last season’s rates, with concessionary ticket prices available across the whole stadium.
Adult tickets will be available at £30 and £36, with concession tickets – which are defined as under 16s and 65 and over – priced at £15 and £19.
