CONFIRMED: CELTIC GAME CHANGES

0

CELTIC have just announced a number of Premiership game changes for December – and already one of the rearranged fixtures looks as though it will have to be moved to another date!

The SPFL have pencilled in the champions for a visit to McDiarmid Park for a 12.15pm kick-off against struggling St Johnstone on Sunday December 8.

That just happens to be the scheduled date for the Betfred League Cup Final at Hampden and Neil Lennon’s side are due to play Hibs in the semi-final on Saturday, November 2 with a 5.30pm start.

If the holders, looking for their fourth successive triumph in the competition, overcome the Easter Road opposition then the match against the Perth side will have to be swapped again.

In the first of the new dates, the champions will travel to Dingwall on Sunday, December 1 to take on Ross County in a High Noon shoot-out.

Then there is the possibility of St Johnstone although the fans would much prefer to be in the vicinity of Mount Florida that particular day.

Celtic will play Hearts at Tynecastle on Wednesday, December 18 with a 7.45pm commencement, a match rearranged to accommodate the last-four Betfred occasion.

Finally, it has been confirmed that Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox outfit will play in the east end of Glasgow on Sunday, December 29 with a 12.30pm start.
