CELTIC’S Premiership game against Motherwell at Fir Park on Sunday February 2 will be shown live on TV.

Brendan Rodgers’ side take on Aston Villa in the Midlands on matchday eight of the Champions League on the previous Thursday, January 29, as they bring down the curtain on their qualifying campaign in Europe’s elite competition.

After a brief two-day breather they are plunged into crucial points-collecting against Well and the encounter will be beamed live by Sky Sports with a 3pm kick-off.

The champions won 3-0 at the venue in October with goals from Luke McCowan, Alistair Johnston and Adam Idah.

The clubs are scheduled to lock horns again at Parkhead on Boxing Day with another 3pm start.

Rodgers’ men face six league games in January, kicking off with the January 2 fixture at Ibrox after winning the reverse fixture 3-0 in the east end of Glasgow in September.

The Hoops also have outings against Ross County and Dundee on their travels with home games against St Mirren, Dundee United and the Dens Park club again at home.
