CONFIRMED: CELTIC SCOTTISH CUP DATE

1

CELTIC will play their Scottish Cup quarter-final against Dundee United at Tannadice on Monday March 14 with a 7.45pm kick-off.

The Hoops had to wait for confirmation of the date until after their Europa League Conference tie had been settled.

Unfortunately, Ange Postecoglou’s side failed to come back from a 3-1 first leg defeat when they lost again to Bodo/Glint in the Arctic Circle last night to exit the tournament on a 5-1 aggregate.

The SFA delayed their announcement until Europe was settled and the Hoops will now be heading for Tayside for an evening start in their quest for a domestic clean sweep with the Parkhead men three points clear at the Premiership pinnacle with 11 games to be played.

The Premier Sports League Cup was claimed with a double salvo from Kyogo Furuhashi in the 2-1 victory over Hibs at Hampden in December.

While the Hoops play on Monday night, Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s Ibrox outfit also travel to Dundee for their Cup-tie at Dens Park on Sunday, March 13 with a 4pm start.

Both matches have been selected by Premier Sports for live TV coverage.
