NEIL LENNON has confirmed Celtic are holding contract talks with three key men as they look ahead to next season.

Defender Mikael Lustig, midfielder Nir Bitton and attacker Scott Sinclair are all in discussions with the champions to extend their deals.

Lennon took time off from preparing his team for tomorrow’s visit of Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox side to tell the media conference: “Discussions are still ongoing at the minute. Mikael Lustig and a few others are speaking, as well, like Scott Sinclair and Nir Bitton, that’s ongoing at the minute.”

The Swedish international right-back was signed by Lennon from Norwegian outfit Rosenborg in January 2012 and his dea; expires in the summer although the club have a 12-month option.

Homeland teams AIK Stockholm and Malmo have been linked with the 32-year-old stalwart.

Israeli ace Bitton, who is under contract until summer 2020, will be offered an extension while 30-year-old Sinclair, one of Brendan Rodgers’ first signings for the club in August 2016 at a fee of £4.5million from Aston Villa, is also wanted for a long-term stay.

Sinclair has scored 60 goals so far for the club and has been practically an ever-present since his arrival.
