CONFIRMED: EDOUARD ON STAND-BY AGAIN

1

ODSONNE EDOUARD, two-goal hero for the France Under-21s last week, was again left out of Neil Lennon’s starting line-up for the game against Hibs at Easter Road this afternoon.

Last season’s top scorer with 28 goals was on the substitutes bench in the 4-1 win over Motherwell at Fir Park a fortnight ago before replacing Albian Ajeti in the 70th minute.

Lennon decided to kick off against the Edinburgh outfit with the team that did so well in Lanarkshire where Mohamed Elyounoussi fired in his first hat-trick for the club to hoist his tally in this campaign to 11 while Olivier Ntcham claimed the other.

The Hoops beat Hibs 3-0 at Parkhead earlier in the term where the Norwegian international, Ajeti and Callum McGregor collected the goals.

TEAM: Bain; Frimpong, Bitton, Ajer, Laxalt; Brown, Christie, Rogic, McGregor; Elyounoussi; Ajeti. Subs: Barkas, Taylor, Duffy, Griffiths, Klimala, Ntcham, Edouard, Elhamed, Henderson.
