CONFIRMED: EDOUARD OUT, ELYOUNOUSSI, AJETI IN

1

ODSONNE EDOUARD has been left out of Neil Lennon’s Celtic starting line-up for today’s visit of Hibs.

The French ace, who was rested against Livingston last week and taken off before the end of the last two games against St Mirren and FC Riga, will drop to the substitutes’ bench.

Mohamed Elyounoussi, who replaced Edouard and scored the winning goal in Latvia, gets the nod to play at the kick-off with £5million Swiss attacker Albian Ajeti leading the line.

Jeremie Frimpong, who was a revelation after replacing the injured James Forrest in 34 minutes on Thursday, also gets a place in the starting eleven.

The 19-year-old Dutch wing-back netted his first Parkhead goal against the Edinburgh outfit last season when the Hoops won 2-0 with Edouard getting the second.

TEAM: Barkas; Bitton, Duffy, Ajer; Frimpong, Brown, Christie, McGregor, Taylor; Elyounoussi, Ajeti. Subs: Bain, Griffiths, Klimala, Soro, Turnbull, Rogic, Ntcham, Edouard, Elhamed.
