CONFIRMED: FORREST IN, ABADA OUT

1

JAMES FORREST returns to the Celtic starting line-up at the expense of Liel Abada against Livingston in West Lothian for the today’s noon kick-off.

Ange Postecoglou gives the nod to the experienced Scotland international winger over the Israeli star for another must-win confrontation with nine league games left to play and the Hoops currently leading the table on goal difference.

Forrest is one of four changes to the side that beat St Mirren 2-0 in midweek with Anthony Ralston, Nir Bitton and Tom Rogic also coming in with Josip Juranovic, Matt O’Riley and Reo Hatate dropping onto the substitutes’ bench.

Greek striker Giorgos Giakoumakis, who hit a hat-trick in the 3-2 win over Dundee in his last Premiership outing, has overcome his illness that saw him sit out the matches against Hibs and the Paisley teams and will also be among the stand-by squad.

Swiss £5million hitman Albian Ajeti is left out of the squad altogether.

TEAM: Hart; Ralston, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt, Taylor; Bitton, McGregor, Rogic; Forrest, Maeda, Jota. Subs: Bain, Welsh, Juranovic, McCarthy, O’Riley, Ideguchi, Hatate, Abada and Giakoumakis.
