CONFIRMED: FRIMPONG RETURNS

JEREMIE FRIMPONG returns for Celtic for tonight’s Europa League last-32 encounter against FC Copenhagen in the Danish capital.

The Dutch teenager has missed the previous seven games since being stretchered off in the fading moments of the 3-1 Premiership win over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park last month.

It looks as though manager Neil Lennon has reverted to a back four with Jonny Hayes on the left flank for the injured Greg Taylor who limped off after only 25 minutes of Sunday’s 2-1 triumph over Aberdeen at Pittodrie.

Ryan Christie gets a place in midfield while 24-goal Odsonne Edouard again leads the line.

This is Celtic’s eighth away game in Europe in this campaign and so far they have lost only one – the 2-0 loss to Cluj in Romania when they were already assured qualification.

The second leg against the Danish champions will be at Parkhead a week tonight.

TEAM: Forster; Frimpong, Jullien, Ajer, Hayes; Brown, McGregor; Forrest, Ntcham, Christie; Edouard. Subs: Bain, Simunovic, Bitton, Bayo, Rogic, Bolingoli and Elyounoussi.
