LEIGH GRIFFITHS has been given the nod to lead the Celtic attack against Motherwell in the High Noon kick-off at Fir Park today.

The comeback Bhoy has impressed Neil Lennon in his outings in the top side and he capped a wonderful team performance a week ago with a sizzling left-foot 18-yard drive for the seventh goal in the rout of St Johnstone during the Flag Day celebrations at Parkhead.

Odsonne Edouard takes a place on the substitutes’ bench as the Hoops boss looks ahead to Tuesday’s crucial Champions League third round second leg qualifier against the Romanians of Cluj with the tie delicately balanced at 1-1.

Christopher Jullien comes into the defence alongside Nir Bitton, Kristoffer Ajer and Boli Bolingoli, with Scott Brown and Callum McGregor in central midfield. Olivier Ntcham is in the middle of the three with James Forrest, scorer of the first leg leveller, on the right and Lewis Morgan on the opposite flank with Griffiths up front.

Joining Edouard on the bench are Craig Gordon, Ryan Christie, Scott Sinclair, Jonny Hayes, Marian Shved and Bayo.
TEAM: Bain; Ajer, Bitton, Jullien, Bolingoli; Brown, McGregor; Forrest, Ntcham, Morgan; Griffiths. Subs: Gordon, Christie, Sinclair, Hayes, Shved, Edouard, Bayo
