CONFIRMED: GRIFFITHS RETURNS

LEIGH GRIFFITHS returns to lead the Celtic attack alongside Odsonne Edouard for the visit of Kilmarnock this afternoon.

The comeback Bhoy missed Thursday’s 1-1 Europa League last-32 draw against FC Copenhagen in the Danish capital after recieving a knock in the final training session before the team flew out.

However, he has proved to boss Neil Lennon he has fully recovered and he is one of four changes to the team with Callum McGregor talking over the role of skipper in place of the injured Scott Brown who will miss his first Premiership encounter of the campaign.

Jozo Simunovic, Greg Taylor and Tom Rogic are also in the line-up for the match against the Ayrshire outfit.

Jeremie Frimpong plays his first game at Parkhead since he was stretchered off in the 3-1 win over Killie last month following a determined challenge from Alan Power.

The 19-year-old Ductchman made his Hoops after missing seven games when he made his European debut against the Danes.
