CONFIRMED: JOHNSTON LEADS ATTACK

0

MIKEY JOHNSTON will lead the Celtic attack at Ibrox this afternoon after Brendan Rodgers decided to start with French ace Odsonne Edouard among the substitutes.

The 19-year-old forward, who scored three goals in his previous recent outings against Motherwell and Dundee, is one of two changes from the team that beat Aberdeen 4-3 in midweek.

Versatile Callum McGregor will switch to the left to take the place of Emilio Izaguirre who doesn’t even get a place as a stand-by, but there is a place on the bench for Kieran Tierney who has been fitting a persistent hip  problem.

TEAM: Gordon; Lustig, Boyata, Benkovic, McGregor; Brown, Ntcham, Christie; Forrest, Johnston, Sinclair. Subs: Bain, Ajer, Ralston, Tierney, Hayes, Morgan, Edouard
