ALISTAIR JOHNSTON makes his return in Celtic’s third-place play-off encounter with Al-Ahli in the Como Cup in Italy this evening.
The Canadian international right-back missed out on the 5-1 loss to Ajax on Thursday, but is in for the match against the Saudi Arabians.
Cameron Carter-Vickers, who came on at the start of the second-half against the Dutch side, keeps his place in central defence to make his first start of the pre-season.
Skipper Callum McGregor gets a breather on this occasion, but is among the stand-by squad.
Kasper Schmeichel, who was helpless as the champions were routed by the Amsterdam team during the week, is also on the substitutes’ bench alongside Ross Doohan as Finnish international Viljami Sinisalo gets the nod on this occasion.
