CONFIRMED: JOTA AIMS TO DUMP DONS AGAIN

ANGE POSTECOGLOU and his championship-winning Celtic players will take a bow on Flag Day at Parkhead this afternoon.

And then the hard work will kick off at 4.30pm against an Aberdeen team who made life difficult for the Hoops in three Premiership tussles last season.

Filipe Jota was the Dons’ torturer-in-chief with the winning goal in the 2-1 triumph at Pittodrie in October and he followed that up with the opener in the 2-1 triumph in the east end of Glasgow in November. Callum McGregor claimed the points-clincher on that occasion.

In February, the Portuguese flyer hit two in the north east – including the winner – in the team’s 3-2 success. Matt O’Riley was the other marksman.

Boss Postecoglou will be hoping Jota, who signed new four-year deal at the club after last season’s impressive loan spell from Benfica, takes up where he left off last season.

Provisional Squad

Joe Hart, Benji Siegrist, Scott Bain, Anthony Ralston, Josip Juranovic, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Christopher Jullien, Stephen Welsh, Moritz Jenz, Greg Taylor, Alexandro Bernabei, Callum McGregor, Reo Hatate, Matt O’Riley, David Turnbull, James McCarthy, Aaron Mooy, Liel Abada, James Forrest, Kyogo Furuhashi, Giorgos Giakoumakis, Daizen Maeda and Filipe Jota.
