FILIPE JOTA returns to the Celtic starting line-up for the Premiership clash against Kilmarnock at Parkhead this afternoon.
The Portuguese winger missed out at the kick-off at Ibrox on Monday, but made a substitute appearance in the second-half and was instrumental in Kyogo Fuuruhashi’s equalising goal in the 88th minute in the 2-2 stalemate.
Jota is one of three changes with Alexandro Bernabei coming in at left-back for the injured Greg Taylor while Aaron Mooy starts in place of Matt O’Riley.
TRADING PLACES…Aaron Mooy is congratulated by Matt O’Riley after scoring his first goal for Celtic in the 4-0 win at Hibs. Now the Aussie midfielder has taken the Denmark Under-21 international’s slot to face Kilmarnock.
James Forrest also drops onto the bench for the first of a double-header against Derek McInnes’ side with the teams locking horns again in the Viaplay League Cup semi-final at Hampden a week tonight.
Intriguingly, Croatia World Cup star Josip Juranovic returns to the stand-by squad with Alistair Johnston remaining in the right-back slot.
TEAM: Hart; Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt, Bernabei; Mooy, McGregor, Hatate; Jota, Kyogo, Maeda. Subs: Bain, Jenz, Giakoumakis, Abada, Turnbull, Kobayashi, O’Riley, Forrest, Juranovic.
