CONFIRMED: JULLIEN RETURNS

CHRISTOPHER JULLIEN will get a work-out against Dundee United at Parkhead this afternoon as he tunes up for Ibrox on Saturday.

The French central defender missed the 3-0 win at Hamilton on Boxing Day with a slight knee knock, but Neil Lennon has put him straight back into his line-up for the visit of the Tannadice outfit as the champions bring down the curtain on 2020.

Jullien is one of three changes made by the Hoops boss with £4.5million Vasilis Barkas making a surprise return to goal in place of Conor Hazard who has had three clean sheets in his five consecutive appearances.

On-loan AC Milan left-back Diego Laxalt comes in for Greg Taylor in another must-win occasion for the champions as they go into the encounter 16 points off the pace with three games in hand.

Lennon has also teams up Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths again to spearhead the attack with both getting on the scoresheet at New Douglas Park.

TEAM: Barkas; Frimpong, Jullien, Ajer, Laxalt; Christie, Soro, Turnbull, McGregor; Edouard, Griffiths. Subs: Hazard, Taylor, Duffy, Bitton, Brown, Ajeti, Rogic, Johnston and Elyounoussi.
