CONFIRMED: KENNY DEBUT AS FOUR AXED

1

NEW Bhoy Jonjoe Kenny will make his Celtic debut against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park tonight.

The 23-year-old Everton right-back, who agreed a six-month loan switch under 24 hours ago, goes straight in at right-back as Neil Lennon axes four of the team that flopped to a 2-1 loss against St Mirren at Parkhead at the weekend.

Out go Shane Duffy, Ismaila Soro, Mohamed Elyounoussi and Leigh Griffiths as the Hoops gaffer rings the changes with skipper Scott Brown leading the team following his two-game ban after his red card in the 2-2 draw with Livingston.

Nir Bitton is missing through injury after limping off at half-time against the Paisley side while Stephen Welsh, Ryan Christie and Albian Ajeti are also brought into the starting eleven.

The champions return to the ground where they dropped two points in their second league of the season in August in a 1-1 draw.

TEAM: Bain; Kenny, Ajer, Welsh, Taylor;  Christie, Brown, McGregor, Turnbull; Edouard, Ajeti. Subs: Barkas, Duffy, Griffiths, Klimala, Soro, Rogic, Johnston, Elyounoussi and Laxalt.
