KYOGO FURUHASHI has been left out of Brendan Rodgers’ starting eleven against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park this evening.

The Japanese striker makes way for Republic of Ireland international powerhouse Adam Idah.

Kyogo is among the stand-by squad which also features Luis Palma, Paulo Bernardo and Nicolas Kuhn.

The champions go into the encounter knowing that at least a point will seal their third successive title and their twelfth crown in 13 years.

TEAM: Hart; Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Scales, Taylor; O’Riley, McGregor, Hatate; Forrest, Idah, Maeda: Subs: Bain, Palma, Kyogo, Kuhn, Nawrocki, Iwata, Bernardo, Ralston and Welsh.

GRIM VIEWING…Brendan Rodgers at Rugby Park earlier this season.

Rodgers suffered his first Premiership defeat since his return in the summer when Killie claimed two goals in the final 15 minutes to snatch a 2-1 triumph in December.

The Hoops were also held 1-1 at home in February after winning 3-1 at Parkhead in October.

Earlier today, we asked how much you could remember about recent encounters with Killie in CQN’s fun five-minute quiz to test your knowledge.

Now we repeat those questions and provide the answers.

MATT FINISH…midfielder Matt O’Riley races away in triumph after thumping Celtic into the lead against Killie at Rugby Park with keeper Will Dennis helpless. Liam Donnelly claims vainly for offside while Mikey Johnston joins in the celebrations. (See Question 3.)
