CELTIC boss Brendan Rodgers has left out Luke McCowan and given the nod to Reo Hatate to face Aberdeen at Pittodrie this evening.
It was reckoned in some circles the £1million recruit, who scored and assisted in two other goals in the 5-0 weekend win over Ross County, may have got a starting spot against the Dons.
However, Japanese international Hatate, who started on the bench against the Highlanders, in in for the kick-off.
Kyogo Furuhashi also leads the attack with Adam Idah among the stand-by squad while Auston Trusty and Nicolas Kuhn replace Liam Scales and James Forrest.
TEAM: Schmeichel; Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Trusty, Valle; Bernardo, McGregor, Hatate; Kuhn, Kyogo, Maeda. Subs: Sinisalo, Taylor, Scales, Idah, McCowan, Engels, Forrest and Ralston.
