CELTIC captain Callum McGregor makes a quickfire comeback to lead Celtic against Aberdeen at Parkhead this evening.

The influential midfielder missed the 2-1 win over Falkirk at the weekend with a stomach bug.

Kieran Tierney is ruled out, however, after limping off in the same fixture. Liam Scales will again deputise at left-back.

Martin O’Neill has also named three new recruits among the stand-by squad – goalkeeper Sam Johnstone, midfielder Oliver Sorensen and striker Shim Mheuka.

TEAM: Sinisalo; Donovan, Carter-Vickers, Trusty, Scales; Nygren, McGregor, Oxlade-Chamberlain; Hassan, Duran, Yang. Subs: Johnstone, McCowan, Tounekti, Sorensen, Baur, Mheuka, Murray, Forrest and Ralston.
