CONFIRMED: MOFFAT DEBUT

1

TEENAGER Owen Moffat will make his first start for Celtic tonight in the Premiership meeting with St Mirren in Paisley.

The speedy frontman comes in for Kyogo Furuhashi, the two-goal hero of the Premier Sports League Cup Final triumph over Hibs on Sunday, who is rested and his introduction is one of six changes by Ange Postecoglou.

Moffat, 19, who had a cameo role at Hampden, comes in alongside Scott Bain, Liam Scales, Nir Bitton, Anthony Ralston and Stephen Welsh with Joe Hart, Carl Starfelt and David Turnbull missing while Josip Juranovic and Greg Taylor are among the stand-by squad.

The Hoops won 6-0 when the teams met earlier in the season as Turnbull claimed his first senior hat-trick, Liel Abada hit a double and Crystal Palace-bound Odsonne Edouard claimed the other.

TEAM: Bain; Ralston, Welsh, Carter-Vickers, Scales; Bitton, Rogic, McGregor; Abada, Moffat and Johnston. Subs: Hazard, Taylor, Shaw, Montgomery, Juranovic, McCarthy and Henderson.
