0

PATRYK KLIMALA, bought for £3.5million in last month’s transfer window, makes his Celtic debut in the Scottish Cup encounter against Clyde at Broadwood this afternoon.

The Polish striker is one of six changes Neil Lennon has made to the side that beat Motherwell 4-0 in the Premiership at Fir Park in midweek.

Keeper Scott Bain makes a first appearance since injuring a hand in the 4-3 Champions League exit against Cluj at Parkhead in August.

Moritz Bauer, Christopher Jullien, Kris Ajer and Boli Bolingoli line up across the back while skipper Scott Brown will partner Olivier Ntcham and Ryan Christie in front of them.

James Forrest, Mohamed Elyounoussi and Klimala will dovetail attack as the holders aims to maintain their 100 per cent record in 2020 with a seventh successive win.

Fraser Forster, Greg Taylor and Leigh Griffiths all start on the bench along with Jonny Hayes, Vakoun Issouf Bayo, Ismaila Soro and Marian Shved.

TEAM: Bain; Bauer, Jullien, Ajer, Bolingoli; Brown, Ntcham, Christie; Forrest, Klimala, Elyonoussi. Subs: Forster, Taylor, Griffiths, Bayo, Soro, Hayes and Shved.
