BRENDAN RODGERS has brought in new Bhoy Benjamin Nygren for his competitive debut against St Mirren at Parkhead on Flag Day this afternoon.

The £1.7million Swede will line up alongside skipper Callum McGregor and Reo Hatate in midfield with £11million man Arne Engels among the stand-by squad.

Alistair Johnston and Cameron Carter-Vickers, whose pre-season participation was curtailed, take their isual places in defence with Kieran Tierney at left-back after his six-year absence at Arsenal.
