CONFIRMED: O’RILEY IN, ROGIC OUT

1

MATT O’RILEY replaces Tom Rogic in midfield against St Mirren at Parkhead tonight in Ange Postecoglou’s only change from the starting line-up that drew 0-0 with Hibs at Easter Road on Sunday.

The £1.5million buy from MK Dons in January came on for the Australian international playmaker in Edinburgh as the Hoops dropped their first Premiership points since the turn of the year.

The Hoops also suffered a scoreless stalemate the last time they faced the Saints in Paisley three days before Christmas, but Postecoglou will be hoping they show more of the blistering form when the sides first locked horns back in August. On that occasion, the home side romped to a 6-0 triumph with Liel Abada netting a double.

The Israel winger has claimed 14 goals since his £3.5million arrival in July and will again be a key man this time out.

Giorgos Giakoumakis misses out completely as he has not fully recovered from the illness that sidelined him at the weekend.

TEAM: Hart; Juranovic, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt, Taylor; O’Riley, McGregor, Hatate; Abada, Maeda, Jota. Subs: Bain, Bitton, Ajeti, McCarthy, Rogic, Ideguchi, Forrest, Ralston and Dembele.
