CONFIRMED: RETURN OF THE SEVEN

1

ANGE POSTECOGLOU has made SEVEN changes for his Celtic line-up against Hibs today from the side that exited Europe against Bodo/Glimt in the Arctic Circle on Thursday.

As expected, the Hoops boss has strengthened his starting eleven at Easter Road for the midday kick-off with a raft of introductions for the crucial Premiership encounter.

Captain Callum McGregor and goalscoring winger Liel Abada, who came on as second-half substitutes against the Norwegians, are in at the start while Josip Juranovic and Greg Taylor return to the full-back positions.

Cameron Carter-Vickers replaces Stephen Welsh in the centre of the rearguard alongside Carl Starfelt while Reo Hatate will take his place alongside McGregor and Tom Rogic in the in the middle of the park.

ATTACK-LEADER…Daizen Maeda will spearhead the Celtic challenge against Hibs at Easter Road.

Daizen Maeda leads the attack with Giorgos Giakoumakis dropping out of the squad, presumably due to an injury issue after his hat-trick against Dundee a week ago. Liam Scales is also missing from the stripped pool of players.

Filipe Jota is also back in his left-wing role.

TEAM: Hart; Juranovic, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt, Taylor; Rogic, McGregor, Hatate; Abada, Maeda, Jota. Subs:Bain, Bitton, Welsh, Ralston, McCarthy, O’Riley, Forrest, Ideguchi and Dembele.
