CONFIRMED: ROGIC IN, CHRISTIE OUT

NEIL LENNON sprung a surprise in his Celtic starting line-up for this evening’s Betfred League Cup semi-final against Hibs by choosing Tom Rogic ahead of Ryan Christie.

The Scotland international playmaker returned to the team in the 2-0 win over St Mirren in midweek after missing two outings through suspension following his red card against Livingston.

However, the Australian has been given the nod to face the Easter Road outfit at Hampden.

Jeremie Frimpong, who scored his first goal in the 4-0 triumph at Aberdeen last weekend, also returns in place of Moritz Bauer for his fourth Hoops appearance.

And skipper Scott Brown, who limped off against the Paisley side, is free from injury and will take his usual place in the middle of the park alongside Callum McGregor.

TEAM: Forster; Frimpong, Jullien, Ajer, Bolingoli; Brown, McGregor; Forrest, Rogic, Elynounoussi; Edouard. Subs: Gordon, Elhamed, Bitton, Hayes, Ntcham, Christie and Johnston.
