CONFIRMED: ROGIC RETURNS

1

TOM ROGIC gets the nod from boss Ange Postecoglou to make a quickfire return to the first team against Motherwell at Fir Park this afternoon.

Matt O’Riley has been an impressive stand-in while the Australian international playmaker has been on World Cup duty while missing out on the wins over Hearts, Dundee United and Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s Ibrox side.

Rogic is one of three changes to the team that won 3-0 in midweek to go to the Premiership pinnacle for the first time this season.

Anthony Ralston comes in at right-back for Josip Juranovic while Postecoglou goes with Daizen Maeda alongside Giorgos Giakoumakis up front with Filipe Jota joining the Croatian ace on the substitutes’ bench.

Reo Hatate, two-goal marksman in midweek, and Liel Abada, who claimed the third, are both in psition for the match against Well.

TEAM: Hart; Ralston, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt, Taylor; Rogic, McGregor, Hatate; Abada, Maeda, Giakoumakis. Subs: Bain, Bitton, McCarthy, Jota, Johnston, O’Riley, Forrest, Welsh, Juranovic.
