CONFIRMED: ROGIC’S FIRST 2019 START

AUSSIE World Cup star Tom Rogic will make his first start of 2019 as Neil Lennon shakes up the team from the line-up that beat St Mirren 2-0 in midweek.

The Aussie midfielder, who made a substitute appearance in the 2-1 win at Ibox last week, was in at the kick-off for the visit of Livingston this afternoon.

On-loan Filip Benkovic also comes into a back three, flanked by Jozo Simunovic and Kris Ajer. Ryan Christie is in at the start following his second killer goal in Paisley on Wednesday evening. Odsonne Edouard also got the nod ahead of Oliver Burke in attack

The last time the sides met at Parkhead was the first fixture of this season, when goals from Rogic, Ntcham and Edouard saw off Livingston 3-1. After that, Livi held the Hoops to a goalless draw at home in November.

A win today would see the champions go 16 points clear at the top of the Premiership and, depending on results elsewhere this weekend, could see them clinch an eighth consecutive league title.

TEAM: Bain; Simunovic, Benkovic, Ajer; Brown, McGregor, Rogic, Christie, Tierney; Forrest, Edouard. Subs: De Vries, Lustig, Hayes, Sinclair, Ntcham, Weah, Burke
