CONFIRMED: SAME-AGAIN CELTS

1

NEIL LENNON has given the nod to the line-up that started the 2-0 midweek victory over Hamilton Accies for the visit of St Mirren this afternoon.

Odsonne Edouard had been a slight doubt after coming off late in the first win of 2021, but he has been given the green light to team up alongside strike partner Leigh Griffiths against the Paisley side who hammered Dunde United 5-1 at Tannadice on Wednesday.

The Frenchman scored his first goal – his eighth league strike – since the turn of the year after being set up by the Scotland international who opened the scoring with a low left-foot drive early in the encounter against Brian Rice’s strugglers.

Scott Brown, red-carded in the 2-2 draw at Livingston, was banned for the triumph over the Lanarkshire outfit and is missing again with Ismaila Soro in the anchorman role.

Scott Bain keeps his place in goal with £4.5million Vasilis Barkas remaining on the substitutes’ bench.

TEAM: Bain; Ajer, Bitton, Duffy, Taylor; Soro, Turnbull, McGregor, Elyounoussi; Edouard, Griffiths. Subs: Barkas, Ajeti, Klimala, Christie, Rogic, Johnston, Ralston, Welsh, Laxalt.
