LIAM SCALES is missing from the Celtic line-up against St Mirren for the Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden this afternoon.

The Republic of Ireland international central defender, practically an ever-present this season, is suspended after picking up another yellow card in the penalty-kick shoot-out win at Ibrox in the previous round.

Benjamin Arthur takes his place alongside Auston Trusty while Arne Engels returns to midfield with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain dropping to the bench.

Daizen Maeda will lead the line with Sebastian Tounekti taking his wide left berth. Kelechi Iheanacho is again among the substitutes, but there is no place for Tomas Cvancara.

TEAM: Sinisalo; Ralston, Arthur, Trusty, Tierney; Nygren, McGregor, Engels; Yang, Maeda, Tounekti. Subs: Doohan, Adamu, McCowan, Iheanacho, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Saracchi, Hatate, Murray, Forrest.
