YOSUKE IDEGUCHI will make a rare first-team start when Celtic face Sydney FC this morning.

Ange Postecoglou has utilised his squad before the first game in the Sydney Super Cup with the Japanese star coming into the midfield.

On-loan Oliver Abildgaard is also in for the kick-off while Swiss keeper Benji Siegrist, whose only appearances have been against Ross County and Motherwell in the League Cup, is in goal.

I’M IN CHARGE…Benji Siegrist is in against the Aussies.

Postecoglou has named four players who faced Ross County at the weekend – Anthony Ralston, Alexandro Bernabei, David Turnbull and Kyogo Furuhashi – but makes changes elsewhere.

The Greek-Australian gaffer is, of course, without four of his players who will be performing in the World Cup Finals – Aaron Mooy (Australia), Josip Juranovic (Croatia), Cameron Carter-Vickers (USA) and Daizen Maeda (Japan).

TEAM: Siegrist; Ralston, Welsh, Starfelt, Bernabei; Abildgaard, Turnbull, Ideguchi; Abada, Kyogo, Forrest. Subs: Bain, Taylor, Haksabanovic, Jota, O’Riley, Roberston, Hatate, Lawal, Vata.
