BRENDAN RODGERS has brought in Jozo Simunovic and Oliver Burke to his startling line-up against Valencia in tonight’s last-32 tie at the Mestalla.
The Croatian central defender was left out of the squad for Sunday’s dramatic 1-0 win over Kilmarnock due to the plastic surface at Rugby Park while the Scotland international forward came on as a second-half substitute.
Jonny Hayes, who put in a good shift against Killie, keeps the left-back spot while Emilio Izaguirre is named among the substitutes.
The Hoops, 2-0 down from last week’s first leg, have never won on Spanish soil.
