CONFIRMED: TAYLOR-MADE FOR GREG

GREG TAYLOR makes his sixth Celtic start of the season against St Johnstone at McDirmaid Park this evening.

The Scotland international left-back, who arrived in a £2.25million switch from Kilmarnock on deadline day, comes into the team as the champions search for three more crucial points in their quest for their ninth successive title.

Neil Lennon makes three changes to the side that beat Ross County 3-0 at Parkhead on Saturday.

Ryan Christie, who rifled in a hat-trick when the Hoops hammered the Perth outfit 7-0 on Flag Day at the start of the campaign, is on the substitutes’ bench after serving his nonsensical three-game ban for the incident with Alfredo Morelos before the turn of the year.

Fraser Forster is again in goal while Jozo Simunovic, Christopher Jullien and Kris Ajer form a back three with skipper Scott Brown and Callum McGregor anchoring the midfield alongside James Forrest, Olivier Ntcham and Taylor.

Leigh Griffiths, in his fourth consecutive start, and Odsonne Edouard lead the line against Tommy Wright’s men.

Craig Gordon, Patryck Klimala, Mortiz Bauer and Jonny Hayes, Tom Rogic and Mikey Johnston partner Christie on the bench.

TEAM: Forster; Simunovic, Jullien, Ajer; Brown, Forrest, Ntcham, McGregor, Taylor; Griffiths, Edouard. Subs: Gordon, Klimala, Bauer, Hayes, Christie, Rogic and Johnston.
