ANGE POSTECOGLOU has given the nod to Stephen Welsh to replace the injured Carl Starfelt in the middle of the Celtic defence against Ferencvaros in Budapest this evening.
The youngster returned to first-team action in the crucial Europa League Group G encounter for his first start since the 1-0 loss at Livingston in September.
Welsh will partner Cameron Carter-Vickers against the Hungarians who were beaten 2-0 at Parkhead last month.
Kyogo Furuhashi, who started on the substitutes’ bench against Livi on Saturday, is in for the kick-off with Giorgos Giakoumakis dropping into the stand-by squad. The pacy Japanese frontman got the opener against tonight’s hosts in Glasgow.
James Forrest, James McCarthy and Mikey Johnston are also listed and could make appearances depending on how the game is progressing.
