  1. Canamalar it looks like OCD obsession on

    Doc,

I’m annoyed at our drop in performance, I did not expect Copenhagen to be as bad as they were in the first half, nor did I expect us to be as bad as Copenhagen were in the first half but that’s the hat I watched. It was like we changed form when we changed ends. I simply expect better.

  2. The Yellow card was ridiculous.

It was a penalty under current guidelines but never deliberate in a million years.

  3. If anyone thinks we didn’t have our best game in the second half, watch the Govan Franchise of clubs play.

My eyes are bleeding here, well they would be if I could stop laughing! There are areas on the pitch the ball is holding up, either that or the Hun players just cant kick it hard enough.

  4. IMO

COPIE’s coach experience came thro. We are still in control.

Frimpong….great experience but …tnight tells u there is more u need to work on.

    All IMO

And we have a great chance to progress.

  5. We outplayed/outscored them first half.

It’s their gaff. They’re pissed off.

They come out second half and put everything that had into it.

    Wouldn’t expect anything less.

1each. Take that any day away in Europe.

Still only lost one meaningless European game this season.

    Well done Celtic.

  6. Not sure if it was to do with his boots but Christie kept slipping today at crucial moments

Funnily enough I know that is something Lenny hates from listenin to a podcast the other day

Morelos clean through and (as usual) blasts straight at the keeper

Man has no finesse what’s so ever… Thinks he’s Gabriel Batistuta

  7. Canamalar, fair comment, I’m just trying to see the bigger picture in the tie, we are in the box seat here.

Celtic Park has stunned a lot bigger clubs than Copenhagen, and no disrespect intended, it just does.

I expect 2-0 or better next week. The drop in performance was an issue, but they changed the formation slightly, and we didn’t quite cope, 433 is an unusual formation for us to play and it threw them first half, their manager changed some details and they got back into it, a bit. I would point out a real lack of chances for Copenhagen, we still had the better opportunities.

  8. IVEHADTO……………..

You also posted we were “screwed” before the penalty was taken.

You need to calm down and trust in Lenny and the players.

    Oh and I forgive you!

    O-)))))

  9. Sevco could win this Europa cup.

If only they had scottish referees.

The Braga goal should have been disallowed. The guy kicked the ball far too hard. You’ve got to give McShagger a chance. Play fair. The assault on hagi was a stonewall penalty. Where is Dallas or madden when you need them.

  10. Glendalystonsils……..Yes Frazer did it against Lazio and again to-night absolutley brilliant goalkeeping. A good result though.

  11. Breaking News From AIP

Primark, the discount clothing company, responsibly for incredibly poor manufacturing processes, have announced their intention to seek to go into partnership with Sevco…following their latest begging letter to the industry.

A spokesperson for Sevco was heard to say…thank f”ck for that, I hope their due diligence is as poor as their products

    More to Follow Follow ;-))

  12. In a strange way, had we won 1-0 tonight, it may have made for an uncomfortable night at CP next week with people thinking the tie was already won.

This way, the players will be annoyed at letting things slip and should come out all guns blazing.

    Gene,

I’ll go with that, very frustrated Tim here. Afraid the second half was marred by too many exclamations of AWE FFS

  14. Canamalar, I’ve been standing outside Curry’s watching through the window for 3 hours now, shop shuts soon so I’ll miss the rest of the game:-)

    It’s raining here as well!!

  15. Canman…context is everything here…we coulda shoulda been out of sight…they got back into it…still 90 mins to go. It was a very decent away result in a last 32 european tie whichever way you cut it.

  16. The hands cant hit what the eyes cant see on

Objectively a 1-1 draw away from home at this stage in the competition is good. I imagine most would have taken that before a ball was kicked, but…as good and enjoyable as the first half was, the 2nd half was excruciating watching.

From what i saw, they started getting their wingers to drive into the middle of the park, dragging our fullbacks with them (particularly RW with Hayes). They then got their full backs to drive forward into the vacated space, with our wingers following them back to track the run.

Another thing i picked up was the chasm between our back 4 and our deepest midfielder (Broony). When the wingers were driving into the middle (occupying the space of a No 10.) there was no one near them. On how many occasion in the 2nd half did you see our whole midfield about face and run towards our own goal?

I love Broony but i don’t think he has the athleticism or pace to fulfil the role required. I’m not sure if it was injury related but on multiple occasions the opposition players ran off him and he was unable to cover the ground.

Having said that, I would much rather have seen Rogic on for Brown, as opposed to Bitton, with Christie and McGregor sitting deeper in our midfield. At least then I think we would have had more control of the game.

  17. hahahahahaha Moreorless yellow card ……hehehehehehhe

    misses next match …

smiley have they no suffered enough thing

    Braw

getting spanked so Ann Sommers could be a hard on bet for their next kit supplier …

  18. Awe Naw…Sevco have no recognised striker available for the next leg…needing to recover from a 0-3 deficit…here’s hoping lol

    H.H.

  19. Odd game, but that’ll do.

I hope Lenny has a good think about what happens when teams get in our faces, we seem to lose all fluency and get very jumpy

The Huns are getting an absolute chasing in their game.

  20. The hands cant hit what the eyes cant see on

A complete joke to book Christie for an accidental hand ball when two Copenhagen players intentional handled the ball but were not booked.
